Refund policy
Thirty days, no reason needed. If GuardMac is not for you, ask and you get your money back.
The window
You can request a full refund within 30 days of your purchase, for any reason, including simply changing your mind. You do not have to justify it to us.
How to request one
GuardMac is sold through Paddle, who are the merchant of record and who took your payment. The quickest route is to ask Paddle directly:
- Go to paddle.net and find your order using the email address you bought with, or the order reference on your receipt.
- Or email us at support@guardmac.com and we will arrange it with Paddle for you.
Either way works. If you email us, please include the email address you used at checkout so we can find the order.
How long it takes
Once a refund is approved, Paddle returns the money to your original payment method. How quickly it appears depends on your bank or card issuer, and is typically a few business days.
After a refund
Your licence key stops working and any Macs activated against it are deactivated. You are welcome to buy again later if you change your mind.
Outside the 30 days
If something has gone wrong after the 30-day window (the software is faulty, it is not doing what we said it does, or you were charged in error), please still get in touch. We would rather hear about it and put it right than leave you stuck. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by this policy.
Paddle's own refund policy also applies to your purchase as merchant of record. Where our policy is more generous to you, ours applies.
